Discover Cycling Near Padstow

Padstow, the home of Rick Stein , Paul Ainsworth and the Camel Trail. A serious tourist destination on the North Coast and well worth a visit but if you look beyond the small fishing village you are right in the middle of the most incredible place to explore by cycle!

Venturing out along the coast road from Padstow you can discover the glorious Seven Bays. Undulating hills (there are quite a few) lead you on a journey of discovery you will never forget. Lovely little coastal villages, golf courses, and secluded bays. Some of the best surf and incredible views.

I would encourage you to take your time and explore the area in full. However for those who are looking for a more serious cycle, you can zip through this area and continue on the coast road all the way down to Newquay and beyond. This is one of my favourite rides with vast open vistas, big hills and dramatic coastline. Paul is able to give you lots of circular routes or ideas for touring when you are planning your trip.
